Kinloch is 20 kms from Taupo and from there guests have more adrenaline packed activities on offer like taking a Rapids Jet up to the Huka Falls, tandem sky diving, bungy and cliff jumping & also hiking over the Mt Tongariro Alpine Crossing – the best one day hike in New Zealand. In Winter Mt Ruapehu is home to New Zealand’s largest ski areas, Whakapapa & Turoa and are well known for the most awesome natural skiing and snowboarding terrain New Zealand has available. White water rafting on the Tongariro River is also a must do whilst visiting Taupo. For those guests with children there are several fun activities to keep everyone happy.
